Rafael Obrador, the defender of Madrid's "Real" club, has joined the "Benfica" team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The official club website of Spain reported this. The contract signed with the player lasts for five years.
"Benfica" paid five million euros for Obrador. The contract also includes the option to buy back the player.
Rafael Obrador was trained at the "Kampos" and "Mallorca" clubs. He made his debut in La Liga five years ago.
Despite moving to the "Real" team later, he did not play in the main squad. He spent most of his time with the youth and reserve teams.
Last season, he was loaned to "Deportivo" of "La Coruña". There, he participated in 34 matches, received five warnings, and made one assist.
This transfer was made to strengthen the defensive line of the "Benfica" team.
