American sanctions have plunged the Cuban people into a humanitarian disaster.

The strict three-month oil restrictions imposed by the United States have brought the Cuban people to the brink of a humanitarian disaster. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In recent days, electricity supply across the country has been severely disrupted, with some areas experiencing power outages lasting up to fifteen hours a day. As a result of this crisis, industrial enterprises have stopped production, and medical institutions have also begun to face regular disruptions.
The most severe situation is related to the population's inability to adequately supply food products, with a sharp shortage of goods observed in the market. Public dissatisfaction with this situation has increased, leading to large-scale protests in several cities across the country.
Protesting citizens destroyed Communist Party offices and damaged buildings. Cuban State leader Miguel Diaz-Canel stated that he understands the difficult situation of the people but emphasized that strict measures will continue to be taken to put an end to disorder and acts of vandalism.
He called on the people to maintain peace and said that efforts to resolve the crisis have begun. The serious energy crisis has forced Havana to start new negotiations with Washington.
Currently, official communication between the two countries has been established, and information about this has been confirmed by both sides. During the negotiations, Raul Guillermo Rodriguez Castro, the grandson of Raul Castro who is considered a potential successor to the Cuban president, is also actively participating.
This group is expected to work towards reaching an agreement. Earlier, former U.S. President Donald Trump had stated that if cooperation with the Cuban government is not achieved, the possibility of using force cannot be completely ruled out.
The current situation shows that economic pressure and internal unrest are forcing changes in state policy. Negotiations between the two countries are of great importance for the country to return to stability in the future.
