Famous former football player Vladislav Radimov commented on the current situation of the "Torpedo" club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
It has been revealed that the Moscow club was expelled from the top league of the Russian championship due to attempts at match-fixing that took place in the spring. Next season, "Torpedo" will participate in the PARI league.
Radimov does not understand why the club is allowed to remain in the second-tier league of Russian football due to the controversy surrounding "Torpedo." According to him, it is not right for FN Liga and the top league to keep their place because the club engaged in bribing referees and other illegal activities.
According to Radimov, the fans and players are innocent, but the wrong actions of a few individuals are harming the entire team. It is also worth noting that "Torpedo's" place in the top league of the Russian championship has been taken by the "Orenburg" team.
"Orenburg" had been relegated from the league based on sports criteria in the spring. This event is seen as one of the decisive decisions in Russian football.
