Spartak and Zenit football players differ in strength

The general director of Moscow's Spartak football club, Oleg Malyishev, expressed his opinion when comparing the squads of the "red-whites" and "Zenit". This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

In his remarks, he noted that in some positions, Spartak players are stronger than Zenit, while in other areas, the opposite is true. Malyishev's words were cited by the Sport24 publication.

Last season, Spartak finished fourth in the Russian Premier League standings, while Zenit secured second place. In the first round of the new season, Spartak will host the Dinamo team from Makhachkala at home.
