Central striker Alassan Plea has left Mönchengladbach's "Borussia" club for the first time since 2018. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Now the French player will play for the Netherlands' PSV club. He signed a three-year contract, and the Eindhoven club paid "Borussia" a small compensation fee of 3 million euros.
Alassan Plea moved to "Borussia" seven years ago from the "Nice" club. Earlier in his career, he played for "Auxerre" and his hometown club "Lyon."
Transfermarkt values Plea at 5 million euros for PSV. In the new season, the Eindhoven club will play in the Champions League again, as they won the Netherlands championship last season.
Previously, PSV had sold the striker to one of the strong teams in Italy's Serie A. This transfer is part of the club's strategy aimed at enhancing the team's collective strength.
Playing in his new team allows Alassan Plea to start a new phase in his career.
