Former Spartak player and football expert Yevgeniy Lovchev has revealed which teams will struggle to avoid elimination in the new season of the Russian Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, newly promoted teams and those that fought for survival last season will be the main competitors. Lovchev emphasized this point in an interview with Match TV.
Based on last season's results, "Baltika" and "Sochi" joined the Russian Premier League. "Orenburg" managed to stay in the league due to a refereeing controversy with Moscow's "Torpedo."
Additionally, despite losing in the play-off matches, "Pari NN" remained in the league due to the suspension of "Khimki." Thus, it is possible to predict which teams will fight for survival in the new season.
