The head of OpenAI, Sam Altman, announced in a post on social network X that the new artificial intelligence model – GPT-5 will be completely free for all users.
“Free subscribers of ChatGPT will have unlimited access to the core features of GPT-5. Plus and Pro subscribers will have additional features such as voice and image generation, deep data analysis,” Altman wrote.
Additionally, the head of OpenAI announced the upcoming release of an update to the GPT-4.5 model, internally named Orion. After this update, the company's main goal will be to integrate all models into a single system and create the ability to use all tools.
According to Altman, OpenAI aims to make its products more convenient and understandable, and is working on integrating these into a single ecosystem.
