Xiaomi presented a new slim robot vacuum cleaner

Xiaomi has introduced a new generation robot vacuum cleaner — the Mijia Sweeping and Mopping Robot 5 model, and has started accepting pre-orders for it. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This device is developed based on modern technologies and features an ultra-thin body. Its thickness is only 7.9 millimeters.

The robot is capable of detecting surrounding obstacles with the help of artificial intelligence and can easily overcome obstacles up to 40 millimeters high. At the same time, it can identify 130 types of common obstacles, such as socks or slippers.

The Mijia Sweeping and Mopping Robot 5 has a powerful suction system with 23,000 Pascals of pressure. Its dual-blade special brush system prevents hair and threads from accumulating inside the vacuum cleaner.

Additionally, the robot is equipped with a wet floor cleaning function that mimics human hand-washing movements. These features enhance the device's efficiency and make home cleaning even more perfect.

The robot is controlled via the Mijia app. Using the app, users can set cleaning schedules and configure no-go zones.

Moreover, the device integrates with other Xiaomi “smart home” systems, enabling automated control at home. The starting price of the new model in the Chinese market is 3,199 yuan, which is approximately 36.4 million soums.
