
Apple has introduced the new generation 14-inch MacBook Pro laptop with the Apple M5 chip. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
So far, only the model with this diagonal has been released for sale; the 16-inch version will use Pro or Max chips, but they are not ready yet. The new chip features a 10-core processor, with 4 cores designed for high performance and 6 cores for energy efficiency.
The graphics processor also consists of 10 cores, and there is a 16-core neural engine. According to Apple, the artificial intelligence processing speed on the M5 chip is six times faster than the M1 and 3.5 times faster than the M4.
In professional applications and games, graphics performance has improved by 60% compared to the M4, and processor speed has increased by 20%. Memory bandwidth has been raised from 120 gigabytes to 153 gigabytes.
Now, there is also a configuration available with up to 4 terabytes of storage capacity. The laptop's design, display, battery capacity, and connectivity options remain unchanged.
In the USA, the base model of the 14-inch MacBook Pro is priced starting at $1599. The available color options are silver and black.
