Apple plans to specially celebrate the 20th anniversary of the iPhone brand in 2027. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to South Korea's ETNews publication, the company changed the traditional numbering sequence and canceled the release of the iPhone 19 model. Therefore, the iPhone 20 model will be presented directly.

According to Omdia analyst Ho Mu-Yol, Apple intends to pay symbolic attention to the brand's history with this decision. At the same time, the company aims to aesthetically express a new phase.

The company will skip the number “19” and present the iPhone 20 as a jubilee model. This is not new for Apple.

In 2017, a similar approach was applied. Instead of releasing the iPhone 9 model, the company presented the iPhone 8 and iPhone X models simultaneously to mark the 10th anniversary.

This situation showed that the brand prioritizes symbolic and marketing advantages over numerical order. According to experts, the iPhone 20 will not only be a jubilee model but also one of the most important devices in the company's history with new design and advanced technologies.

Apple is expected to gain significant attention in the technology world with this step.
