NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards are becoming cheaper in Europe, according to Pepelac News. According to Geizhals, some models are currently being sold for 2,599 euros (approximately 240,000 rubles), which, although higher than the official recommended retail price (RRP), is better than previous prices. A Reddit user reported finding the card for 2,456 euros in Finland, which has an RRP of 2,339 euros.
For comparison, the official MSI store in the US is selling the RTX 5090 VENTUS 3X OC model for $2,999 (approximately 242,000 rubles). Considering the VAT refund, its price amounts to 2,235 euros, making Europe a favorable region for purchasing the RTX 5090.
One of the factors contributing to the price drop is the halt of RTX 5090D sales in China, which may lead to an increase in supply in other markets. Additionally, some models of the RTX 50xx series, such as the RTX 5070, are being sold below the RRP, which may indicate either excess supply or decreased demand.
Despite these changes, the RTX 5090 remains a highly sought-after niche product among enthusiasts and researchers in the field of artificial intelligence due to its 32 GB of video memory.
