Google has released the beta version 14.4 of Android Auto, according to Pepelac News. The update will be available to the general public next week. As always, the list of changes has not been officially announced, but the main focus is on improving stability and preparing for new features.
Currently, Android Auto operates through the phone, which limits access to car functions. Google wants to change this situation — especially planning to add the car's climate control function to the Android Auto interface.
These buttons will be placed on the lower panel of the interface, providing quick access to them. This feature was observed in previous versions, and now Google is close to fully implementing it.
Additionally, it will be possible to launch Android games on the car's multimedia screen through Android Auto. The initially supported games are Angry Birds and Candy Crush. For this, Android 15 and the latest version of Android Auto are required.
More detailed announcements are expected at the Google I/O conference, which will take place on May 20-21.
