Telegram iOS version 12.5 released with new conveniences

The 12.5 version of the Telegram app for the iOS operating system has been released. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This update offers a number of new conveniences for users working with chats and media files. The new version includes several key changes.

Now files are downloaded in the background mode, meaning the download process continues even if the app is closed or the phone is locked, and this process can be monitored in the User Activity panel. A new tagging system has been introduced in groups.

In this system, admin roles are distinguished by color, while regular users can assign gray tags to themselves. Personal chat protection has been enhanced for Premium subscribers.

They now have the ability to restrict copying, forwarding, taking screenshots, and saving files. The option to add text captions to GIF images has appeared.

Additionally, photos can be converted into stickers with one tap and edited through a special editor, allowing users to write text, draw, and add emojis. It is now possible to see who voted and when during voting processes.

The system for accessing websites through Telegram has been accelerated and enriched with a new interface. Also, the function to create events from messages and integrate them with the calendar has been added.
