Yandex Ads has launched a new advertising tool for Telegram. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Now advertisers can place ads on channels they select from the catalog and pay based on the number of views. This innovation helps increase brand awareness, expand the target audience, and simplify the process of working with content creators.
The Yandex Advertising Network currently unites over 18,000 Telegram channels with a total audience of more than 320 million subscribers. Interest in advertising through Telegram is growing: in 2025, the funds businesses spent on advertising via Yandex Ads doubled.
According to Madina Seysengaliyeva, head of Yandex Ads in Central Asia, previously advertising posts on Telegram mainly operated on a click-based model, and channels were selected automatically. Now, manually selecting specific channels and paying based on views provides businesses with greater flexibility.
This creates opportunities for effective communication with a wide audience both in Uzbekistan and beyond. Advertising campaigns are managed through the "Direct Pro" interface.
Detailed analytical data is provided for each channel: audience size, engagement level, cost per view, and estimated placement cost. This helps in precise budget planning and selecting the most optimal channels.
Advertising posts adapt to the author or blog style. Visual materials such as cards and videos can be added.
Text formatting and call-to-action buttons guide users towards targeted actions. Advertising posts are shown to all subscribers of the selected channels, including Telegram Premium users.
Channels undergo prior moderation, ensuring a safe and high-quality environment for brands. The new features also create additional opportunities for Telegram channel authors: attracting more advertisers and increasing revenue.
