Apple's new MacBook Neo laptop has successfully passed testing

The new MacBook Neo laptop presented by Apple has successfully passed initial tests, and the results have been made public. Zamin.uz reported on this.
This new computer is equipped with the six-core A18 Pro processor used in iPhone 16 Pro phones, which significantly increased its performance level. In specialized benchmarking systems, the device scored 3461 points in single-core mode and 8668 points in multi-core mode.
Additionally, a score of 31286 points was recorded in the graphics performance metric. Experts note that this laptop's multi-core processing speed is very close to that of the MacBook Air model equipped with the M1 processor.
However, in terms of single-core performance capabilities, it shows results high enough to compete with M3 and M4 processors. Such features make it very convenient for daily tasks such as browsing the internet, working with text documents, and watching videos.
However, this device is still insufficient for tasks such as heavy video editing or complex three-dimensional modeling. Apple presents this new model as a competitor aimed at inexpensive computers and Chromebooks based on the Windows operating system.
According to company data, the A18 Pro processor performs up to forty-five percent faster in daily tasks compared to popular laptops with the Intel Core Ultra 5 processor. In complex artificial intelligence calculations, this difference can reach up to three times.
The starting price of the new MacBook Neo device is $599 USD. Pre-orders for this computer are currently being accepted, and its official sales will begin on March 1.
This price and feature set remain a very attractive option for many users.
