YouTube has completely deleted the pages of Belarus state TV channels

The YouTube video platform has completely deleted the pages of a number of television channels belonging to the state of Belarus. Zamin.uz reported this.
The country's Ministry of Information announced this event on its official Telegram channel. According to official data, the YouTube service, which is part of the Google company, has removed major state channels such as BelTA, STV, and ONT from the platform.
Detailed information regarding the exact reasons and grounds for this decision has not yet been provided. The Belarusian government described this action as an unfounded and unfriendly step.
Ministry representatives emphasized that such measures contradict the principles of international communication and information exchange. At the same time, the ministry stated that it reserves the right to take appropriate response measures regarding this situation.
This event once again highlights the attitude of digital platforms toward state media resources and the issue of restrictions in the information space. Currently, Belarusian specialists and official agencies are working to resolve this blocking situation or seek alternative ways.
In international practice, such cases often occur due to violations of platform rules or political reasons; however, in this situation, the lack of clear grounds is causing debate.
