Which products have become more expensive with the arrival of spring?

IMRI experts analyzed the prices of 21 types of food products in major supermarket chains in Tashkent in March 2025, according to Nova24.uz.

Price changes:

6 products became cheaper:
Potatoes – -19.8%
Yellow onions – -10.3%
Red carrots – -3.4%
Eggs – -2.1%
Bananas – -0.9%
Sunflower oil – -0.6%

7 products became more expensive:
Tomatoes – the most expensive product (related to seasonal factors)

8 products' prices remained unchanged:
Flour, rice, pasta, cabbage, apples, chicken meat (fillet), milk, sugar

Experts emphasize that Uzbekistan is strengthening measures to ensure itself with essential products.
