From now on, the assessment system used at the "New Uzbekistan" university will be implemented in higher education institutions. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This system has been approved by the responsible authorities and is planned to be implemented. In the new assessment system, the employment rate of graduates will be evaluated with 40 points.
Additionally, 30 points will be awarded based on network orders for scientific research and product sales. Scientific potential and articles in international journals will be evaluated with 20 points.
Moreover, up to 10 points will be allocated for research conducted based on local and foreign grants. For example, if Qarshi Technical University collects 85 percent of the total points, it will receive an additional 20 percent bonus on the budget allocation of 78 billion soums.
If the total score is less than 56 percent, the funding amount for the next academic year will be reduced. It was also emphasized that it is not possible to evaluate higher education institutions in the scientific field and universities in the social sector by the same criteria.
This assessment system is aimed at improving the quality of higher education and enhancing the efficiency of universities. Source: zamin.uz
