Reforms in the education sector and opportunities provided to youth in Uzbekistan are yielding results. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the President, every year thousands of school students and young people obtain international certificates in foreign languages and various subjects. For example, until 2016, only two thousand students across the entire country held international certificates, whereas last year alone, more than 150 thousand young people received certificates in foreign languages.
This figure reflects the development of the country's education system and the diligence of the youth. Additionally, international certificates are now taken into account in final school exams.
This creates additional opportunities for young people and appropriately rewards their hard work and aspirations. The meeting also highlighted young individuals who have achieved notable success in the field of education.
Among them, Billura Ikramova, a talented girl from Kogon, successfully graduated from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom, declined offers from major companies, and is teaching English at a remote school in Romitan district in her homeland. Furthermore, Nodira Nabiyeva, a doctoral student at Oxford University, developed an innovative methodology for teaching English to students with hearing impairments.
Professors from prestigious universities in Germany and the United States also use this methodology. The President regarded this achievement as important for the national education system.
The head of state once again emphasized his attention to education, expressing readiness to expand the ranks of talented and dedicated teachers and to provide them with all necessary conditions (Source: zamin.uz).
