According to the President, in recent years, the number of young people among school students obtaining international-level certificates in foreign languages and various subjects has increased significantly. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Until 2016, the number of students holding such certificates was only 2 thousand, but last year alone, 150 thousand young people obtained international certificates in foreign languages. It has now been decided that these certificates will be officially recognized in final school exams.
The President's speech paid special attention to exemplary representatives of the younger generation. Among them is Billura Ikramova from the city of Kogon.
Billura successfully graduated from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom, declined offers from major organizations, and is currently teaching English at a school in the village of Romitan. Additionally, Nodira Nabiyeva, a doctoral student at Oxford University, has developed a new methodology for teaching English to students with hearing impairments.
This method is also being applied at prestigious universities in Germany and the United States. According to the President, its main goal is to focus greatly on education and to expand the ranks of talented and dedicated young teachers.
He expressed readiness to create all necessary conditions for this. At the same time, the country's leader once again confirmed his view of education as the most important pillar of national development.
