
The Central Bank of Uzbekistan presented a report on the labor market and economic situation for the third quarter of 2025. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During this period, it was noted that the population's income and employment levels continued to grow positively. In the third quarter of the current year, the nominal wage increased by an average of 19.2%.
After adjusting for inflation, a 9.1% growth in citizens' real incomes was observed. Currently, the average monthly wage across the country amounts to 6.2 million soms.
The highest salaries are paid in the finance, insurance, and information and communication technology (ICT) sectors. By region, the highest wage growth rates were recorded in Samarkand (14.6%), Sirdaryo (11.1%), and Namangan (10.9%) provinces.
It is also emphasized that the growth of real wages in Uzbekistan is significantly higher than the indicators in neighboring Central Asian countries. Due to the stability of the national currency, the minimum wage has reached 103 dollars.
The number of vacancies in the labor market also increased by 3.3%. Currently, demand for employees remains high in the trade, general catering, and industrial sectors.
