In 2025, 60 percent of teachers did not pass the certification

According to the information announced by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, more than 60 percent of educators did not achieve successful results in the certification exams held in 2025. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This situation once again confirms the necessity to improve teachers' qualifications and to enhance the certification system. This information was published on the podrobno.uz website.
A total of 353,604 educators participated in the certification process. As a result of the exams, 22,311 teachers obtained the highest qualification category, 43,445 the first category, and 60,055 the second qualification category.
Additionally, 13,371 educators were awarded the "specialist" category. Certificates were issued to 125,811 educators who retained or improved their categories.
Furthermore, 6,553 teachers obtained qualification certificates without certification. A total of 21,836 interns participated in professional certification exams.
Moreover, the authenticity of 48,599 certificates approved by national and international organizations was confirmed. Allowances related to these certificates were also accounted for educators.
According to the Ministry, these indicators demonstrate the need to further develop the qualification improvement and certification system.
