Uzbekistan received more than 1 million tourists for the first time in a month
In April 2025, Uzbekistan welcomed more than 1 million tourists in a month for the first time, as reported by the Kursiv Uzbekistan website.
According to the Tourism Committee, the majority of tourists were citizens of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan.
Committee representatives emphasized that this figure is not only a historic achievement but also a result of the consistent reforms being carried out in the tourism sector.
In the future, Uzbekistan plans to expand the range of services for foreign tourists and strengthen the position of the country's tourism in the global market.
