An earthquake of magnitude 2.8 was recorded in Namangan

This was reported by the Republican Center for Seismoprognostic Monitoring. According to the information, the tremor was recorded at 20:22 in the Yangiqo‘rg‘on district of Namangan region.
The earthquake's epicenter is located 206 kilometers southeast of Tashkent city. The earthquake had a magnitude of 2.8 and a depth of 5 kilometers.
The epicenter was identified in the Yangiqo‘rg‘on district. Its coordinates are 41.08 degrees north latitude and 71.66 degrees east longitude.
The earthquake was felt to varying degrees across Uzbekistan. Specifically, the tremor was recorded at a strength of 2-3 points in Namangan city, 2 points in Yangiqo‘rg‘on district, and 2 points in Chortoq district.
The distances of these districts from the epicenter were 9, 16, and 19 kilometers respectively. So far, there have been no reports of casualties or damages from this event.
