Beware of fraud: Pension fund warns

Recently, cases of fraud targeting citizens of pension age via phone calls have increased. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The Pension Fund has called on citizens to be vigilant in this regard. It has been revealed that fraudsters introduce themselves as bank or Pension Fund employees and falsely inform citizens with messages such as “Your pension will increase from next month.
For this, you need to provide your personal information or the code sent to your phone.” They try to gain citizens' trust and obtain their personal information through this method.
The Pension Fund reminds citizens that its employees never ask for personal information or codes received via SMS over the phone. Therefore, it is strictly prohibited to provide personal information such as passport details, plastic card information, or JSHSHIR (PINFL) number to strangers.
If you encounter suspicious calls or attempts of fraud, it is recommended to immediately contact 1271 – the Pension Fund’s hotline or 102 – the Internal Affairs authorities. To prevent such incidents, it is important to increase vigilance and avoid sharing personal information with strangers.
