Japan's law enforcement agencies have decided to recall approximately sixteen thousand toy pistols from the market. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
It has been determined that these toy pistols can potentially be converted into weapons capable of firing real ammunition. This was announced by the Pravilamag agency.
The mini-revolvers sold under the name Real Gimmick are intended for children over the age of 12 and were offered as prizes in various arcade machines across the country. These toys, which appear safe at first glance, were imported from China and came with plastic ammunition.
Expert evaluations revealed that these weapons could be transformed into serious threats through certain technical modifications. Law enforcement agencies emphasize that handling these pistols is dangerous, as they could accidentally discharge or fire in the wrong direction.
Japanese legislation strictly regulates the ownership of such weapons, and possessing them without a license can lead to criminal liability. Currently, the police are urging all buyers and users to surrender these weapons.
Rapid measures are being taken to ensure public safety and protect children's lives
