Trump launched a new mechanism for illegal immigrants
US President Donald Trump called on illegal immigrants to voluntarily leave the country in a video address. Axios reported that they are required to use the CBP Home special application to carry out this process.

This application replaces the CBP One application developed by former President Joe Biden's administration. While CBP One allowed immigrants to cross the border legally, the new CBP Home encourages illegal immigrants to voluntarily leave the country.

In his video address, Trump stated: “People who are illegally residing in our country can leave at their own discretion or they will be deported, which may be unpleasant for them. The Biden administration accepted over a million illegal immigrants through the CBP One application. I am introducing the CBP Home application so that illegal individuals can leave the country at their own will.”

Trump emphasized that if immigrants leave through the new application, they may have the opportunity to return legally in the future. However, he warned that if they do not do so, they will be deported and completely deprived of the right to re-enter.

According to Axios, the CBP Home application was developed to encourage illegal immigrants to voluntarily leave the country and save taxpayer funds. This application is also part of Trump's administration's strategy to combat illegal migration.

According to the US Department of Homeland Security, approximately $200 million has been spent on the advertising campaign aimed at encouraging immigrants to leave voluntarily. This process is being carried out as part of comprehensive measures against immigration in the US.

During the inauguration ceremony on January 20, Donald Trump promised to stop the flow of illegal immigrants and initiate the deportation of millions of immigrants as he took the oath as the 47th President of the United States. He also declared a state of emergency at the southern border of the US.
