They emphasized their readiness to work on the possibility of organizing a new trilateral summit based on European cooperation and assistance.
The statement particularly highlighted the issue of Ukraine. European leaders stressed that Ukraine's armed forces must be supported without any restrictions.
It was also noted that Russia should not have veto power over Ukraine’s accession to the European Union or NATO. The statement also emphasized that Ukraine must have the right to make independent decisions regarding its territories.
External pressure or imposed conditions were firmly rejected. European countries confirmed their continued support for Ukraine.
Sanctions and economic pressure currently imposed on Russia will be further intensified until a just and stable peace is established. This joint statement is regarded as a clear signal to Moscow.
The main goal was set to strengthen the continent’s security and achieve long-term peace through the aid provided to Ukraine.
