A powerful explosion at a pyrotechnics warehouse in Karachi, Pakistan, resulted in two deaths and at least 34 people sustaining various injuries. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The incident occurred inside the warehouse, and a large fire broke out following the explosion. The fire spread rapidly, destroying all the products in the warehouse.
Additionally, houses, shops, and vehicles around the site were also damaged. Fire trucks and ambulance crews quickly arrived at the scene.
Rescuers worked hard to control the fire and transport the injured to the hospital. For safety reasons, the explosion site was completely cordoned off and traffic was temporarily halted.
Authorities have formed a special commission to investigate the causes of the incident. Preliminary information indicates that failure to comply with safety regulations in storing pyrotechnic products led to this tragedy.
