Said Muhammad Sadr, a member of Iran's Council for Determining the Expediency of the State, provided information about the strategic cooperation between Russia and Iran as well as the intelligence data Moscow has provided to Israel. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to him, the alliance established with Russia does not fully align with strategic interests, and some of Russia's actions have created a complex situation. Sadr stated that Moscow has not directly intervened in Iran's attacks against Israel, but Russia has supplied Israel with strategic information regarding Iran's air strikes.
This situation indicates that the alliance between the countries is not fully harmonious. He also drew attention to relations with Moscow and other countries.
For example, Turkey's membership in NATO and its purchase of the S-400 missile defense system from Russia clearly demonstrate Russia's policy against NATO. Sadr emphasized the importance of maintaining relations between Russia and Iran but noted the need for caution in trusting Moscow.
Alliances and political relations on the international stage, along with complex issues related to other countries and their policies, define the changing and complex nature of international relations. Thus, strategic cooperation between countries always requires caution and analysis.
