China's state-controlled company "Dongfang Electric" has developed a new offshore wind turbine with a capacity of 26 megawatts. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This project is considered the world's largest and most powerful offshore wind power plant. Once connected to the grid, the turbine will generate approximately 100 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually.
This enables the stable supply of electricity to more than 55,000 households and enhances the stability of the country's energy system. The uniqueness of the new wind turbine lies in its design to operate efficiently in offshore areas with wind speeds of 8 meters per second and above.
This ensures continuity and high efficiency in energy production. The project's ecological cleanliness and sustainability are also of particular importance.
This project not only serves to strengthen China's energy resources but also further solidifies its position in the global energy market. Additionally, it will serve as a model for future development of offshore wind energy and large-scale ecological projects.
This initiative plays a crucial role in implementing the country's sustainable energy policy.
