A cleaner who attempted to poison his colleague in Poland was arrested (video)
A company employee in Poland was arrested for systematically attempting to poison his colleague. This was reported by In-Poland.

The 56-year-old accused was caught on hidden camera committing the crime. He was recorded adding a toxic substance to his colleague's drink multiple times.

The victim's suspicions and signs of poisoning

The victim suffered from severe abdominal pain for several months but attributed it to fatigue. Over time, his condition worsened, and he was forced to seek medical attention. Medical examination results showed signs of chemical poisoning.

"I became suspicious after the tea and Coca-Cola at work tasted strange. But I couldn't believe my colleagues were capable of this," said the victim.

Reason for the crime and legal actions

According to investigation data, there was a personal animosity between the accused and the victim. The suspect could face up to 20 years in prison.

Additionally, another employee of the company was aware of the situation but took no action to prevent the crime. Therefore, he could also be sentenced to up to 3 years in prison.

This case highlights the need for serious attention to workplace safety and relationships among employees in Poland. To prevent such crimes in a team environment, cameras, monitoring systems, and open communication among workers must be established.
