Any country around the world can serve as a venue for negotiations between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian leader Vladimir Putin. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
However, there are three countries that the Ukrainian side absolutely does not agree to. This was emphasized by Mykhailo Podolyak, advisor to the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, in an exclusive interview with Novini.LIVE.
According to him, Russia, Belarus, and Hungary cannot host such a summit under any circumstances. Because holding the meeting in these countries would be harmful to Ukraine and bring no benefit.
Podolyak stated that the location of the negotiations itself is not the most important factor. Any country in the world might not oppose such a meeting, since negotiations do not necessarily have to be bilateral or trilateral.
However, if proposals come from Moscow, Minsk, or Budapest, they should not be taken seriously. For Ukraine, the main issue is not the venue of the summit, but its outcome and the conditions under which it takes place.
Thus, the content and effectiveness of the negotiations remain the most important factors for Ukraine.
