On the night of September 10, due to Russia's massive drone attacks on Ukraine, the Polish government was forced to temporarily close a number of important airports. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This decision was made because of the emergence of "unplanned military actions." Specifically, the international airports "Rzeszów-Jasionka" and "Lublin," as well as both airports in Warsaw, were closed for operations.
This was announced in a prompt and official statement by aviation personnel. The Polish aviation department stated that these measures are being implemented to ensure national security and to eliminate potential risks arising from military actions.
Additionally, the rapid command of the Polish armed forces announced on social media that all necessary measures have been taken to firmly protect the airspace. To ensure security, not only Polish fighter jets but also military aircraft belonging to NATO member states are being deployed.
Ground defense forces have also been brought to a high state of readiness. These measures were adopted by the Polish government to ensure the country's security and the safety of its population.
Furthermore, since the "Rzeszów-Jasionka" airport has served as a key logistics center for delivering Western aid to Ukraine, its temporary closure is also being considered within the framework of international cooperation. This situation is an important measure aimed at ensuring regional security and reducing military threats.
