
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev dismissed Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu from his position during his visit to the UN and appointed him as a presidential aide. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
At the same time, Yermek Kusherbayev was appointed as Kazakhstan's new Foreign Minister. Before this appointment, Kusherbayev served as Deputy Prime Minister.
President Tokayev also made changes among several leaders responsible for foreign policy at the Akorda. These changes are considered an important step aimed at further strengthening and effectively managing the country's foreign policy.
