Today, on September 26, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a speech at the United Nations General Assembly in New York City. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Contrary to expectations, his speech did not pass peacefully and caused strong protests. As the speech began, many delegations left their seats and walked out.
Additionally, among the remaining participants, there were instances of whistles and shouts directed against his speech. This event became one of the unusual situations remembered in the history of the assembly.
Nevertheless, Netanyahu did not stop speaking and continued expressing his views. He described the Gaza Strip as an area covered with loudspeakers for appealing to the international community.
The Israeli Prime Minister called on HAMAS militants to lay down their arms and release the hostages. As Netanyahu emphasized, Israel is protecting not only itself but also major regions such as Europe and America from the "barbarians at the gate."
He also accused countries that recognized the Palestinian state of antisemitism. According to him, within the last week, the governments of the United Kingdom, France, Canada, and Australia have made decisions to recognize Palestine as a state.
This issue is causing intense debates in international politics. Netanyahu's speech sparked strong discussions and protests at the UN summit.
