In a hospital located in the state of Uttar Pradesh, hundreds of various items were removed from the stomach of a 40-year-old patient. According to The Times of India, during the surgery, 29 metal spoons, 19 toothbrushes, and 2 pens were found in the patient's stomach.
According to the information, the patient was admitted to a drug rehabilitation center a month ago. However, due to severe psychological pressure and poor treatment there, a dangerous habit developed, and he began swallowing foreign objects.
A few days later, he sought medical help at the hospital with severe abdominal pain. During an examination at the state clinic, dozens of metal and plastic items were detected in his stomach.
The medical team led by surgeon Shyam Kumar successfully removed all the items through a complex operation. The patient's friends and relatives emphasized that his condition was related to the poor treatment and psychological pressures at the center.
Currently, the patient's condition has stabilized, and he is under medical supervision. Authorities have once again reminded how important mental health and the treatment of people are.
It was emphasized that timely assistance and care are necessary in such situations.
