In recent weeks, the shortage of gasoline in Russia has sharply increased. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In many regions of the country, long queues have formed at gas stations, and in some places, fuel is not available at all. According to Reuters agency, the main reason for this situation is drone attacks by Ukraine on oil refineries.
As a result of these attacks, at least seven refineries have ceased operations, leading to a reduction in domestic fuel production. Consequently, the gasoline shortage has intensified further.
The Russian government has temporarily banned gasoline exports to ensure domestic supply. Nevertheless, these measures have not resolved the shortage.
Especially, independent gas stations are ceasing operations. According to reports, the price of AI-92 gasoline has reached a record high, with the price per ton reaching 73,200 rubles.
In the Crimea region, prices have been frozen and gasoline sales are limited; drivers are not being given more than 20 liters of fuel at a time. This situation negatively affects the lives of the population and additional measures are needed to improve fuel supply.
