China responded to the 245% tariff threat from the US
The threat of the US imposing tariffs of up to 245% on China appears completely illogical as an economic weapon, according to ura.news.
China's Ministry of Commerce stated that it would not pay attention to this "meaningless numbers game," but emphasized that it would not remain silent if the country's interests were harmed.
Currently, the overall tariff rates between the US and China stand at 125%. Additionally, the US has imposed an extra 20% tariff, accusing China of being sluggish in the fight against drugs.
