
A serious road traffic accident involving a minibus occurred in the city of Mersin, located in southeastern Turkey. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to local media reports, at least five people died in this tragedy, and more than ten individuals sustained injuries of varying degrees. The incident happened while the minibus was carrying workers engaged in the agricultural sector.
They lost control of the vehicle while on their way to work in the morning and crashed into a roadside barrier. Emergency services and police quickly arrived at the scene and transported the injured to nearby hospitals.
An investigation is currently underway regarding the incident. According to preliminary information, all the deceased and injured are Turkish citizens.
Officials described the disaster as very severe and expressed deep condolences to the families of the victims. Road safety services are working to determine the causes of the accident.
