French President Emmanuel Macron has reappointed Sebastian Lecornu as Prime Minister, Bloomberg reported. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This decision was made to maintain political stability and prevent a government crisis. Sebastian Lecornu led the French government from September 9 to October 6.
He announced the new government composition one day before his resignation, but it was sharply criticized by opposition parties. On October 13, Lecornu will present the new state budget draft to the parliament.
If the budget draft is not approved, a separate law will need to be developed to finance the government. Sebastian Lecornu was born on June 11, 1986, in the city of Obonn.
He served as France's Minister of Defense from spring 2022 to May 2024. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2022, he was Minister of Overseas and Remote Territories.
His return is expected to contribute to strengthening the country's political stability.
