
In September, China increased its wheat imports from Russia by 73 times, reaching the highest level since November 2024. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to data from the China Customs Service, wheat imports amounted to 1.293 million dollars. Besides wheat, barley delivery volumes also increased for the fourth consecutive month, showing positive growth.
In September, barley imports rose by one third, reaching 9.84 million dollars. Additionally, oat delivery volumes were recorded to have increased to 3.267 million dollars.
Overall, in September, China's purchases of grain products from Russia increased by 13.3 percent compared to the previous month, totaling 24.1 million dollars. However, year-on-year comparison showed that grain imports from Russia to China decreased by one and a half times.
These data reflect changes in agricultural product trade between China and Russia.
