The head of state emphasized that mutual respect and friendly relations among citizens are the main foundation of development. He stated that to maintain peace and stability, every person must consider not only personal but also societal interests.
Tokayev stressed that failing to appreciate others' work, rejecting opinions, or slandering someone are cultural vices and that there must be responsibility for such actions. The president paid special attention to online debates, calling it a dangerous vice that discussions on social networks often turn into insults and hostility.
He emphasized the necessity of eliminating such negative phenomena. Additionally, Tokayev noted that Independence Day is a sacred date for the people.
He recalled that the Declaration of State Independence adopted on October 25, 1990, laid the foundation for Kazakhstan's new history. The president highlighted the country's recent economic growth, achievements in the social sphere, and education system, but stressed the importance of not forgetting lessons from the past.
Recalling the words of the great thinker Abish Kekilbayev, Tokayev emphasized that if a nation respects its history and heroes, it can look to the future with confidence. He called on all citizens to work towards the prosperity and unity of the country.
The head of state said that Kazakhstan's flourishing can only be ensured through the unity and solidarity of society.
