A new law regulating blogging activities has come into force in China. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to this law, starting from October 25, 2025, bloggers creating content in fields that require specialized knowledge such as medicine, law, education, and finance will be required to present relevant qualification documents. From now on, bloggers operating in these areas must have a diploma, license, or certificate.
This regulation was developed by China's Cyberspace Administration (CAC) and implemented on popular platforms such as Douyin, Bilibili, and Weibo. Additionally, bloggers will be obliged to clearly indicate the sources and research used in their content.
Officials emphasize that this measure aims to prevent online disinformation and incorrect advice. However, some critics note that the new requirements may negatively affect creativity and freedom of speech.
Experts evaluate this reform as a new policy phase aimed at ensuring the dissemination of reliable information in China's internet space.
