On the night of November 5 to November 6, one of the brightest events of the year was observed in the Tashkent sky. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Because the Moon approached its closest distance — about 356,832 kilometers — it appeared much larger and brighter than usual. This event was named the "Beaver Supermoon" by astronomers.
The full moon was observed at 18:19 Tashkent time, while the Moon became visible in the sky from around 17:00. The Beaver Supermoon was recorded as the largest and brightest full moon event of 2025.
This natural phenomenon attracted great interest not only from professional astronomers but also from ordinary sky watchers. During the supermoon, the Moon's disk appeared significantly larger and brighter than usual, creating a unique view in the Tashkent sky.
Such events usually occur when the Moon is at its closest distance to the Earth and can repeat several times each year.
