According to information provided by the Ministry of Education of Kyrgyzstan, educational institutions across the country are being switched to an energy-saving mode. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This measure aims to reduce energy consumption and promote efficient use. According to the ministry's directive, electricity must be turned off no later than 60 minutes after all lessons have ended.
This serves to facilitate quick and convenient cleaning of classrooms as well as to prevent excessive energy consumption. At the same time, this restriction does not apply to equipment that ensures the safety and technical operation of schools.
Additionally, institutions that provide dormitories for students are also exempt from this mode. As previously announced, in order to save energy, the use of internal and external lighting as well as electrical appliances in Kyrgyzstan's government offices is restricted from 18:00 to 06:00.
Experts emphasize that this decision is aimed at the sustainable distribution of energy resources in the country and reducing the load on electrical systems during the winter season.
