Educational cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan is entering a new stage. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Currently, more than 280 cooperation agreements and memorandums are in effect between the two countries, involving over 60 higher education institutions from Kazakhstan. In Uzbekistan, educational programs in Kazakh language and literature have been established at several universities.
Specifically, faculties of Kazakh language and literature operate at Tashkent State Pedagogical University, Karakalpak State University, Gulistan State University, as well as at the pedagogical institutes in Nukus, Jizzakh, and Navoi. In Kazakhstan, great attention is given to the Uzbek language, which is taught in 141 schools.
In these schools, a total of 89,038 students are studying in Uzbek across 5,814 classes. According to experts, these figures not only strengthen cultural cooperation but also create broad opportunities for developing scientific, economic, and humanitarian relations between the two countries in the future.
Such cooperation in the field of education serves to train new generation specialists, enhance regional integration, and further strengthen friendship between the two peoples. This process consolidates strategic partnership between the two countries and contributes positively to regional development.
