According to the Financial Times publication, Apple CEO Tim Cook may leave his position in 2026. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the publication, the main candidate to replace him is Senior Vice President John Ternus, who oversees hardware development. Although the final decision has not yet been made, Apple is likely to announce the new leader's name after the financial report is released in January.
Changes in leadership are expected at the beginning of the year. This will allow the future CEO to prepare for the developers' conference in June and the new iPhone presentation planned for September.
Personnel changes continue in Apple's leadership. This year, the company’s Chief Financial Officer Luca Maestri left at the beginning of the year, and Chief Operating Officer Jeff Williams departed in the summer.
Currently 65 years old, Tim Cook has been serving as Apple's leader since 2011. He succeeded Steve Jobs, and under his leadership, the company's market value grew from $350 billion to $4 trillion.
Additionally, according to information, Apple has expressed readiness to pay Google $1 billion annually for an artificial intelligence model for Siri.
