A new cargo air route has been launched between Wenzhou city in China and Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This route was established in alignment with the global trade season, particularly the "Black Friday" shopping period. This was reported by the "Xinhua" agency.
This route serves to expand logistics opportunities for exporters operating in Zhejiang province of China and nearby areas. The first cargo flight on this route was carried out by a Boeing 767 aircraft belonging to Centrum Air airline.
The plane flew from Lunwan Airport in Wenzhou to Tashkent carrying 50 tons of cargo. This was recorded as the first cargo flight from Wenzhou city directed to Central Asia.
With the opening of the new air route, Wenzhou Airport has increased the number of international cargo routes to 11. These routes cover Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, and Central Asia.
Additionally, these routes serve as an important transit platform for delivering Chinese products to European markets through cross-border e-commerce.
