
According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance, on Saturday, attacks carried out using missiles and drones caused significant damage to the energy infrastructure in Kyiv city and region, as well as in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, and Kharkiv regions. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
As a result, more than 500,000 residents in Kyiv city, over 100,000 in Kyiv region, and nearly 8,000 consumers in Kharkiv region were left without electricity. Currently, hourly restrictions on electricity supply have been implemented in all affected areas.
Additionally, restrictions on electricity distribution are being applied to industrial and business entities. According to the energy company DTEK, electricity supply has been interrupted in the Obolon, Solomianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Podilskyi, Holosiivskyi, and Sviatoshynskyi districts of Kyiv.
There has been no official comment from Russia regarding these attacks. Furthermore, according to Alexander Khinshtein, governor of Russia's Kursk region, energy facilities in the Rylsk district were damaged as a result of Ukrainian strikes, leaving 600 people without electricity.
